Responsibilities

At our Technical Systems section, we work with operation and maintenance projects concerning technical installations in road infrastructure in the Stockholm area, covering the technical areas: Control Systems, Telecommunication Systems, and Traffic Equipment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with complex technical systems in some of Sweden's most important road facilities. As a Project Manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on projects within telecommunication systems and technical safety systems in road infrastructure.

Your work includes, among other things, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance as well as reinvestments and improvement measures in areas such as:

• safety systems such as cameras (ITV), locking and access control systems, and PA systems for tunnels and monitoring servers
• technical IT solutions for traffic monitoring and control
• upgrades of monitoring and safety systems

You will lead and manage large contract agreements from planning to execution and follow-up. You will work closely with project engineers, construction managers, and technical specialists, representing Trafikverket in dialogue with contractors, suppliers, and other authorities.

In this role, you will, among other things:

• plan, budget, and execute procurements for internal operations
• monitor project time, cost, and content
• coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal resources
• work proactively with risk, safety, and working environment
• contribute to the development and improvement of working methods and technical solutions

Qualifications

We are looking for a driven and analytical Project Manager with the ability to drive projects forward in complex environments. You build trust in collaborations and find it easy to communicate with various types of stakeholders, from technical specialists to contractors and authorities. You work in a structured manner, are solution-oriented, and have a clear focus on quality and results.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university or college degree of at least 180 ECTS credits (120 points) with a technical focus, or other education combined with relevant work experience that we consider equivalent
• current and relevant experience from contracting activities as a client, consultant, or contractor
• several years of current and relevant experience in project management or a corresponding leading role within technical systems or installations in infrastructure or technical facilities
• a valid driver's license for passenger cars
• good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
• good knowledge of English, spoken and written

It is an asset if you also have experience of working with:

• telecommunication systems, access control systems, and/or ITV within infrastructure, construction, or real estate
• procurements and contracts according to LOU and AB/ABT
• negotiation and contract management
